The Birth Of A Waterfall

The Birth Of A Waterfall

The river drew breath

At the precipice near

Behind it the mountains

Before it the sheer.

No longer a flow

But not yet a fall

In between purpose

Outside of its call.

The overture sings

Release and rebirth

Conceived between heaven

And pregnant earth.

The cascade sings

Exalted and free

The nameless name

Removed from decree.

The shortest while

The purest form

Adorns her vision

The recurring norm.

Fantasia

Fantasia

Would that I were

A thought adrift

In a wave torn ocean

Harboured

By a fleeting memory

Even a glance

In a lonely muse

Would dawn a day

For if I am there

Then I am
